Worth County speeding tickets are rare but they still hold the 3 point penalty that a ticket issued by the Missouri State Highway Patrol carries. In October 2012, Missouri Ticket Lawyer found that Worth County saw only 1 speeding ticket issued through the Fine Collection Center (FCC). This was last among all 115 Missouri counties.
If you have received an FCC speeding ticket, you will have 30 days to respond. The FCC’s website can be found here. You can plead guilty by paying the fine and have a conviction be added to your record. Often, this causes a motorists’ insurance rates to spike in addition to points being added to their driving record. A not guilty plea will cause the speeding ticket to be forwarded to the Worth County Prosecutor’s Office and a court date to be set for the motorist to appear in front of the county judge.
